Image Rights & Usage Policy

1. Ownership of Generated Images

When you use ProfileHero.ai, you remain the full owner of the AI-generated headshots created from your uploaded photos.

You hold all personal and commercial rights to these generated images, and you may use, share, or publish them without restriction.

ProfileHero.ai does not claim ownership of any generated content produced through your paid order, except where otherwise stated in Section 7 (Free, Discounted, or Giveaway Orders).

2. Licence Granted to ProfileHero.ai

By using our Services, you grant ProfileHero.ai a limited, revocable licence to:

• Store and process your uploaded photos and generated images as necessary to provide the Services; and
• Use non-identifiable or anonymised versions of generated images for promotional, illustrative, or portfolio purposes — only where you have provided explicit consent, or as permitted under Section 7 (Free or Promotional Orders).

This licence remains in effect for as long as your uploaded photos are retained under our retention policy (up to 30 days), and continues only for any generated images you have chosen to make publicly viewable via sharing features.

3. Use of Uploaded Photos

You must have lawful rights and permissions to upload all photos submitted to ProfileHero.ai.

We process these photos exclusively for the purpose of creating AI-generated headshots as part of your order.

Uploaded photos are stored securely and never displayed or distributed outside the processing pipeline unless required for lawful reasons (e.g., refund verification).

4. Training and Model Use

Uploaded photos may be temporarily used to train and optimise models solely within the scope of your specific order — for example, to improve likeness and consistency across your generated headshots.

We do not use user photos or generated images to train, improve, or retrain our general AI models or external systems.

Any model training performed is confined to the specific generation process for your purchase.

5. Retention

Uploaded photos and related user-provided data are retained for a maximum of 30 days to allow for regeneration, quality review, or refund assessment.

Generated images are retained indefinitely as part of your deliverables, unless you request deletion.

You may request deletion of uploaded or generated content at any time by contacting us.

Deletion requests may affect your ability to request a refund or re-download your images.

6. Public Sharing and Attribution

ProfileHero.ai may offer optional tools that allow you to share your generated images publicly, such as shareable links or social media integrations.

When using these features:

• Shared links may make your generated content publicly viewable.
• ProfileHero.ai is not responsible for redistribution or further sharing by third parties.
• Attribution (e.g., "Created with ProfileHero.ai") is automatically included on shared links generated by us and is appreciated when users share their results independently.

By choosing to share your results, you acknowledge that visibility is user-initiated and voluntary.

7. Free, Discounted, or Giveaway Orders

Where Services are provided free of charge, at a 100% discount, or as part of a giveaway or competition, ProfileHero.ai retains full rights to use both the uploaded photos and resulting generated images for marketing, promotional, illustrative, or portfolio purposes.

This includes, but is not limited to, display on our website, social media, advertisements, and product examples.

Paid customers are not affected by this clause unless separate permission has been given.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our Services or applicable law.

Any revisions will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.

Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
